OU University Theatre 2021-2022 brochure
We invite you to look through our University Theatre 2021-2022 season brochure, offering nine select productions for entertainment and invite you to join us in re-discovering all the ways you can be touched by theatre through the creativity of our artistic cadre of directors, designers and technicians, not to mention the actors, singers and dancers who will take your breath away with their performances.
From the gripping intensity of Caryl Churchill’s Mad Forest to the delightful playfulness of She Loves Me, two deliciously humorous one-act operas, Coffee Cantata and La Serva Padrona, and the physical prowess of the dancers of Contemporary Dance Oklahoma, the fall season bursts with vivacity, energy, and emotion. The celebration continues with Young Choreographers’ Showcase in January leading to an irresistible spring season replete with a powerful operatic version of The Scarlet Letter, Shakespeare’s much loved A Midsummer Night’s Dream, Oklahoma Festival Ballet featuring the elegant Sleeping Beauty Suite, Act III and the hit musical Pippin completing the celebration.
Enjoy special savings and priority seating by becoming a University Theatre season subscriber. New season subscriptions go on sale Aug. 23. Order your season tickets right away and know we look forward to celebrating with you as the curtain rises on Sept. 24!
