Erin Palmer is an internationally recognized pianist and vocal coach, currently serving as Instructor of Vocal Coaching at the University of Oklahoma. Known for her ability to connect with artists worldwide, she has performed and collaborated across the U.S. and abroad. Before she came to OU, her prior appointments included University of North Carolina – Charlotte, Wingate University, and Georgia State University.

In 2022, Erin was selected for the inaugural McGill-Université de Montréal Piano-Vocal Accompaniment Residency. She also serves as an Opera Coach for the American Institute for Musical Studies (AIMS) in Graz, Austria, working with elite musicians from around the world.

Her collaborations include the Marcello Giordani International Voice Competition, Metropolitan Opera National Council Auditions, Atlanta Opera, Charlotte Symphony, and Opera Carolina, reinforcing her presence among North America’s top musical institutions. She has trained in esteemed programs such as the Roger Vignoles Mentoring Program, SongFest, AIMS, and the Eastern Music Festival.

A passionate linguist and lifelong learner, Erin has studied internationally at the Università per Stranieri di Perugia, Alliance Française, ActiLinga Academy (Vienna), and CLC Canada (Montréal). She holds performance degrees from Valdosta State University and a Doctor of Musical Arts from the University of North Carolina – Greensboro.

At the heart of Erin’s work is a deep love for collaboration and human connection—whether coaching singers, engaging audiences, or building musical communities. Originally from Douglas, Georgia, she had the honor of being a Torchbearer for the 1996 Atlanta Summer Olympics.

Beyond music, Erin finds joy in traveling, studying languages, and sharing meals with friends around the world.
