University Theatre 2023-2024  Season

University Theatre presents a season of plays, musicals, operas, and dance performances produced by the Weitzenhoffer Family College of Fine Arts.

Our students act in all the plays, which are
directed by our faculty or our guest artists.

Our students and faculty design all the productions which are built with the support and mentorship of our faculty and staff. Drama students stage manage and dramaturg these productions with similar mentorship.

This modern take on the fifteenth-century morality play Everyman follows Everybody on a journey through life’s greatest mystery. Allegorical figures play the lottery of life with wit and wisdom on a journey of self-discovery. Each performance, the role each actor will play will be drawn at random live in front of the audience.

A modern take on this ancient Greek tale of unforgettable, eternal love. Gluck’s soaring opera follows Orfeo’s venture into the underworld to rescue his beloved Euridce.
