How will the swim complex practice safety precautions & social distancing?

  • Only one person per lap lane will enter every other lane at opposite ends to maintain appropriate social distancing. Two individuals may share a lane if they reside in the same household, but lanes will not exceed two individuals. 

  • Reservations will be required and can be made in 30-minute intervals.

When is the swim complex sanitized? 

  • Staff will clean and sanitize high touch areas in the facility at the end of every hour throughout hours of operation.  Additional cleaning will take place on a rotating basis and after close. Cleaning chemicals will meet EPA approved and/or CDC guidelines for disinfecting viruses like COVID-19.

Do I need a lane reservation? 

  • Yes, lane reservations are required at this time.

  • Only one person per lane. 

  • Two people from the same household may share a lane, however only one person will need to make the reservation.

How do I make a reservation for a lap lane? 

  • Lane reservations can be made one of two ways:

  • Click link to make a pool lane reservation.

  • Contact the pool front desk at 405-325-4837

How long can I swim? 

  • Lane reservations are set for 30 mintues. You can reserve up to (2) 30 min. sessions, equalling 1 hour.

How do I enter/exit the pools? 

  • Enter and exit the Indoor pool through the double deck doors on the west.  Please ensure that appropriate social distancing is maintained. 

  • Enter the Outdoor pool through the south doors at the end of the hallway and continue to your designated lap lane.  

  • There will be a specific traffic flow pattern and additional directional signage upon entry. 

Will locker rooms be available?

  • Yes. A limited number of people will be allowed in the locker rooms at one time to ensure that appropriate social distancing is maintained. 

Will there be workout equipment available?

  • At this time, there will only be access to water fitness belts and kickboards.  No other equipment will be available.  

What should I bring?

  • Non-glass reusable water bottle, towel, swimsuit, cover up & swimming equipment (if needed).  Goggle checkout will no longer be available from the front desk. 

Can I water jog/lap swim in the deep end? 

  • Yes, reservations will be required to use this space. Please note for lap swimming that the distance is approximately 20 yards.  

Can I bring my children to swim in a lap lane?

  • At this time, we are not allowing anyone under the age of 18 in the facility during lap swim times.  However, this will be adjusted in the future as we continue to navigate through this ever-changing situation.   

When will swim lessons begin? 

  • Due to the current and ever-changing situation with COVID-19, swim lessons will not be offered until further notice.

When is recreational/open swim going to start? 

  • Due to the current and ever-changing situation with COVID-19, recreational/open swim will not be offered until further notice.

Can I book a birthday party? 

  • Due to the current and ever-changing situation with COVID-19, birthday parties will not be offered until further notice.

Is my spring membership still valid? 

  • Spring and annual memberships will be extended

  • Moving forward memberships will be available for purchase on a month to month basis 

What are my parking options when visiting the pool? 

  • If you have a current OU parking permit, you will need to park where that permit allows.

  • You may park in the strip adjacent to the pool and pay the meter. 

  • If you have a current pool membership, you will need to visit the pool front desk to receive your issued parking pass.
