Jason started at the university in 2009 as an intern, with Athletics, after completing his undergraduate in Turfgrass Management. In 2016, he took on the role of the lead Turf Manager for the Fitness and Recreation department. He is now currently the Maintenance Coordinator for all OU Fit+Rec facilities. He oversees the maintenance of 25 acres of Intramural Sports fields and the Band practice fields, facility maintenance of the Sarkeys Fitness Center, and various other outdoor recreation facilities.
When asked about his favorite characteristic of Fitness and Recreation, Jason responded, "Having the ability to provide safe and high-quality facilities for our members to enjoy throughout the year.”
