Research awards are given to faculty for their accomplishments in scholarship and creative endeavors. In addition to the George Lynn Cross Professorship and the Regents' Award for Superior Research and Creative Activity, the following awards are offered to honor outstanding scholarly pursuits.
The Henry Daniel Rinsland Memorial Award for Excellence in Educational Research was established to recognize a faculty member who either played a central role in the accomplishment of an outstanding educational research project or demonstrates a distinguished record in educational research over time. This award is administered by the Office of the Vice President for Research.
