GEOG 1213 & 3513 Students
Note the following:

• Geography Department faculty meetings may be scheduled during my office hours this fall. This will normally be at intervals of two weeks. For example, on October 1, I will not be available. Special appointments will be available however.
• The listservs for both courses is now available. The purpose of these forums is to facilitate discussion of material in both economic and political geography courses. You may discuss lectures, readings, and current events. Exam scores and questions, derogatory comments toward either groups or individuals, or flames (angry email) will not be tolerated.

Listserv Directions

1. The names for each listserv are "GEOG3513" for political and "geog1213" for economic (no quote marks when you subscribe).
2. To subscribe to a list (e.g., GEOG3513), send email to listserv@ou.edu with the following text, not in the subject line: SUBSCRIBE GEOG3513 John Smith [your name, obviously]
3. To unsubscribe send a message to the same address but with the following text in the same protocol: UNSUBSCRIBE GEOG3513 [or geog1213].
4. To minimize stray conversations, all subscription requests will be sent to my email address automatically. I will compare your name and email with the class roll and student information form you submitted. If any information is lacking, I will email you detailing what is needed.
5. Postings are not moderated, but class members are expected to following the policy listed above.
6. Further information about OU's listserv may be obtained at http://www.ou.edu/dcts/helpdesk/listerv.
