Sometimes you'll find a web page which you want to save. It's an easy process to do and will save you paper in the long run. To save a web page which is open, go to FILE and choose SAVE AS. Make sure you have chosen your disk to save the page to (it says the location the file is being saved to in the box at the top of the SAVE window) and specified the format you want to save it in (the default is HTML which should be fine for you, though you can also choose to save it as plain text). Note: When you save a page to disk you're just saving the text information, not the background. If you're saving a page with light text , you may want to save it as text, not html, so that the text is saved as black and not the light color on the screen.
If you're trying to print out a page with very light text, you will need to save the page before you can print it because the printer will not print the background, which means the light print will be illegible when you print it out.
You can also mail web pages to yourself. To mail a web page, when you're on the page, go to FILE and SEND PAGE. A mail message will appear. Type in the e-mail address you would like to go to and click send (you may get a message which asks for a subject). When you next check your mail, you should receive the page you sent to yourself.
