A Guide for Writing Research Papers based on Modern Language Association (MLA) Documentation--Gives instructions on how to document most kinds of sources as you're required to.
MLA Electronic Sources--A really strong reference for all those electronic docs you keep finding; easier to navigate than the other MLA site. Click on Basic CGOS Style to see the instructions.

Online Writing Center--Roane State Community College's Writing Center's site has many online resources for writing different types of essays and for fixing mechanical and grammatical errors in your writing.

Rensselaer Writing Center Handouts--Handouts on a variety of writing issues.

Issues2000.org--Links to very detailed information on all candidates' (not just Bush and Gore's) positions on issues, links to articles. Also covers senatorial campaigns.
Speakout.com (formerly GoVote.com)--General information on issues, candidates, etc. Also has info on congressional races.
League of Women Voters--The LWV is a nonpartisan political organization that encourages the informed and active participation of citizens in government, works to increase understanding of major public policy issues, and influences public policy through education and advocacy.
DemocracyNet--a LWV online voter resource for national, state, and local elections. You can get candidate issue statements, contact information, biographies and other voting information.
