After you click on the verb review link on the Cultural Discovery Essay Unit page, the Powerpoint presentation will open. You will see a blank blue page. Go to File at the top of the window and select Save As. Save the review on your desktop or on your floppy. Then close the blue page. Go to your desk top and click on the verb review file to open the Powerpoint presentation.
At the top of the window, go to View--normal. From here you can select the slides you want to look at without going through the whole review. Click on the numbered slides on the far left to make your selection.
To print some slides, select File--Print. In the Print range area, select Slides. In the long empty box, type in the numbers of the slides you want to print. Under Print What, select Handouts. In the slides per page box, select how many slides you want to print on one page. Choose more than one, 4-6 are easy to read, in order to save paper.
If you just want to view the slide show, click on View--slide show.
Use your left mouse button to click through the material on the slides
and to move to the next slides. Use the right mouse button at any
time and select end slide show when you want to stop looking at
the show.
