Trish Koonce

Trish manages the Enrollment Management (EM) Administration & Compliance team, which is responsible for supporting EM operations and ensuring regulatory compliance with all federal, state, and institutional regulations and policies for the offices within EM. The department’s primary responsibilities include EM budget administration, building and supply management, payroll, compliance, and training support.

Trish has earned a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Oklahoma State University and a Juris Doctor from University of Oklahoma.

Trish began working for Enrollment Management in 2014 for the OU Scholarship Office (Communications Specialist). Her favorite task was awarding scholarship funds to students and witnessing firsthand their positive effects on students’ lives. She is a First-Year Foundations and 9 Things Every College Student Should Know About Money instructor. Prior to joining the University of Oklahoma, Trish served the State of Oklahoma as Special Legal Counsel to the Oklahoma House of Representatives and Legislative Liaison to the Oklahoma Insurance Commissioner. She and her husband, Barry, live in Norman and have three amazing daughters.

My best advice for a high school junior or senior preparing to apply to college:
