Yes, all students must first complete the general University application and be admitted before they can apply to SPARK360o.
Students are accepted into the SPARK360o program for the entirety of their undergraduate experience at OU.
Students can apply for the program once formally accepted into the University of Oklahoma. SPARK360o applications are accepted year-round and are reviewed on a rolling basis, so encourage students to apply as early as possible.
The program fee for the Fall 2025/Spring 2026 academic year is $2,250 per semester.
When SPARK360o launched, we intentionally kept the program fee low during the initial pilot phase to make participation as accessible as possible. As the program has grown, so too has the need to ensure sustainable funding for individualized, high-quality services. To support continued growth and maintain best practices, the fee will increase incrementally through Fall 2028. For the full schedule of planned fee increases, please see page 7 of our informational brochure.
We work very hard to keep the cost of participating in SPARK360o competitive with other postsecondary institutions' autism support programs, which typically range from $3,500-$7,500 per semester.
A one-time, non-refundable program enrollment fee that will be used to directly fund program activities is due upon acceptance to the SPARK360o program. This fee is assessed separately from general program fees and is payable directly to the Zarrow Institute.
Fee information:
Fall 2025/Spring 2026 enrollment: $100
While there are currently no scholarship opportunities specifically for SPARK360o, program fees are assessed through students' bursar accounts, allowing students' financial aid packages to automatically contribute to the cost of the program.
Additionally, students receiving Oklahoma's Promise and/or registered with the Oklahoma Department of Rehabilitation Services may be eligible for financial support. Please consult with your case manager to determine eligibility.
No. While SPARK360 provides structured coaching, skill-building, and individualized support, we cannot guarantee academic, social, or behavioral outcomes. College success depends on many factors, including your student’s engagement, follow-through, motivation, and use of available campus resources.
What we can guarantee is that:
SPARK360 is designed to equip students with tools for success, but the responsibility for using those tools ultimately belongs to the student.
Students who fail to meet the expectations of the program may be put on probation and a plan will be put in place to ensure the student's success in the program and at the University.
Yes! First- and second-year students receive priority, but more established students will be accepted as well, as space allows. Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis and will be accepted for the current semester through the 1st of the second month of the semester.
Fall: September 1st
Spring: February 1st
No! We have students pursuing degrees from all programs across the university.
SPARK360o participants should register with the Accessibility and Disability Resource Center if accommodations are needed.
Yes! For an additional fee, all current and incoming SPARK360o students may participate over the summer, regardless of location or institution. The fee for Summer 2025 is $500.
Summer supports include one-on-one meetings with the student's regularly assigned coach and proctored study halls. These are provided virtually to allow all SPARK360o students the opportunity to participate, though students remaining local for the summer are welcome to participate in person.
Summer supports beyond the above may be provided on a case-by-case basis for an additional fee.
We understand--this can certainly be a stressful and confusing time for students and parents alike! To help simplify the process for you, we have put together a list of helpful resources to guide you throughout this process:
