What is SPARK360o?

SPARK360is the University of Oklahoma's only full-service Autism Support Program supporting autistic students seeking an undergraduate degree as they navigate the hidden college curriculum. SPARK360o offers specialized autism support rooted in research, experience, and intentional program design, ensuring services reflect a student-centered support approach and current best practices in the field.

What Sets Us Apart

Our program emphasizes individualized coaching, self-determination, and meaningful connection, delivered by highly trained autism specialists with extensive experience supporting autistic students in higher education.

Located within the Zarrow Institute on Transition & Self-Determination, a Certified Autism Center and a nationally recognized leader in secondary and postsecondary disability supports since 2000, SPARK360o builds on decades of direct practice supporting students’ academic success, independence, and sense of belonging.

Program Mission

Our mission is to support autistic undergraduate students as they bridge the gap between the structured supports of high school and the often unspoken expectations of college.

Program Philosophy

Grounded in the belief that autism is often only disabling when environments fail to accommodate neurodivergence, we collaborate with students to identify personalized strategies that address their academic, vocational, social, and independent living goals. At the same time, we engage with the broader university community toward creating more neurodiversity-friendly environments and practices.

Rather than following a rigid curriculum, we facilitate organic opportunities for connection, growth, and self-determined success, empowering students to navigate college and life with confidence.
