Brenda Lloyd-Jones, Ph.D., is an associate professor in the Department of Human Relations and was formerly the Department's associate chair. Her scholarship addresses the representation and experiences of women of color in senior-level leadership and mentoring approaches to support, retain, and advance women. In addition, she has published research in Mentoring & Tutoring: Partnership in Learning, Advances in Developing Human Resources, and International Journal of Humanities and Social Science Review.
Fun Fact: She is the recipient of both the 2011 President’s Leadership Award from the University of Oklahoma, Tulsa and the 2018 Paragon Award for Community Leadership from Leadership Tulsa. She also appears every Thursday in a televised news segment called “Therapy Thursday” on a CBS affiliate, where she responds to queries from viewers.
