Annie Eubanks is a physical wellness coach with the Happy Teacher Project at the University of Oklahoma-Tulsa. She has nine years of experience teaching physical education to elementary students in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma. She received her bachelor’s degree in physical education, health and safety from Oklahoma State University and has been teaching ever since. She also is a certified personal trainer with expertise in group training, one-on-one training, and fitness nutrition. Annie absolutely loves working with elementary students and adults, helping them to learn to love all types of movement and witnessing the sense of accomplishment they feel when meeting a goal.
Fun Fact: Annie always knew she wanted to be a teacher, as her mother taught first grade for over 25 years and she loved everything about school and being around young children. She started out as an early childhood education major, but quickly switched gears to physical education after attending an elementary physical education class while serving as a student intern.
Encouraging Note: Early childhood teachers are some of the most influential people in a child’s life. All of the time and effort you put into their learning experience will not be forgotten and they will never forget the love and compassion that you show them on a daily basis. As a physical wellness coach with the Happy Teacher Project, I will do my absolute best to help you make healthy changes and set goals to have you feeling your best and support your overall well-being. Thank you for everything you do!
