Anna Keltner is a passionate educator with experience working with children ages birth to 6th grade. During her years of service, Anna has worked in the classroom and in the community to create effective, safe learning environments for all children. She received her B.S. in Elementary Education from the University of Oklahoma. During her time in Norman, working at a local crisis shelter for women and children, she discovered her passion for advocating for children from hard places. She went on to earn her M.S. in Educational Studies with a Graduate Certificate in Mind, Brain, & Teaching from Johns Hopkins University. In 2016 Anna joined the nonprofit Connected Kids as a teacher at their therapeutic preschool. She is now the director of the preschool and focuses on how to broaden the services Connected Kids offers to meet the various needs of children who have experienced trauma.
Fun Fact: Anna is the mother of three boys. Her house is beautifully chaotic. When she is not in the classroom she is trying to solve problems at home like how a single sock got stuck on the ceiling.
Encouraging Note: "A teacher affects eternity; he can never tell where his influence stops." –Henry B. Adams. Early childhood teachers create the foundation upon which all other learning is built. It's easy to lose sight of the important work in our classrooms as we rock babies, change diapers, and sing songs with our children. We often do not get to see the fruits of our labor. I am excited to walk alongside you and cheer you on as you lay strong foundations of learning with your children.
