Student Affairs strives to offer a variety of activities for students to participate in over the academic year. Some of the activities that have become much anticipated traditions on campus include: Welcome Week, Happy Hours, MLK parade, The Big Event, De-Stress Fest, and Commencement. Welcome Week is the first week of the Fall semester, and is filled with activities & events to welcome you to the OU-Tulsa community! Activities include free snowcones, check-ups for student laptops, yoga sessions, student organization trainings, and ice skating.
The Big Event is OU-Tulsa's official day of community service! Volunteers participate in this event to show their appreciation to the surrounding community by completing service projects such as painting, yard work, and assisting at the food bank.
Halloween Happy Hour is hosted each fall by OU-Tulsa Student Affairs. This event provides an opportunity for students to enjoy dinner and drinks, as well as paint a pumpkin they can take home!
Graduation Gear Up is where students are able to purchase all necessary graduation regalia. You can purchase your cap, gown, tassel, hood, class ring, diploma frame, and more.
Plant Your Roots @ OU-Tulsa has become an annual tradition at OU-Tulsa. Students gather to paint flower pots and plant succulents.
OU-Tulsa Student Affairs welcomes the students who begin classes in the summer with a Welcome Back Happy Hour each June! Students come together to enjoy dinner and drinks as they start the new school year.
