CASH

The Centralized Academic Scholarship Hub, or CASH for short, is the premier place for current and continuing students to apply for university scholarships. Open to all students enrolled in the current academic year, applications are submitted in the current academic year for consideration with award disbursement in the next academic year.

Centralized Academic Scholarship Hub

The Centralized Academic Scholarship Hub is now closed for the 2025-2026 academic year! Students can submit applications from October 1, 2025, through February 1, 2026, for the 2026-2027 academic year.

Who can apply?

College-wide, departmental, financial aid, Sooner Parents, and campus awards are all housed through CASH, our online system. Undergraduate, graduate, liberal studies, international, and study abroad students are encouraged to apply for scholarships every academic year you plan to enroll at OU.

Incoming Student Eligibility

Incoming freshmen and incoming transfer students are not eligible to complete any scholarship applications through CASH. We encourage you to apply through CASH for scholarships once you begin taking classes at OU. Visit the Office of Admissions & Recruitment website or contact your OU admissions counselor for questions regarding incoming freshmen and incoming transfer student scholarships.

Please be aware that if you are considered a nonresident alien for US tax purposes, any financial aid or scholarship amounts you receive may be subject to taxation under specific conditions. These conditions depend on whether the awards exceed qualified tuition and fees (referred to as ‘excess awards’) during the calendar year, your residency status throughout that year, and the existence of tax treaties between the US and your home country. If you have any inquiries regarding the taxability of awards for nonresident aliens, feel free to contact fstax@ou.edu.
