About Snyder

Dr. Bill Snyder is an assistant professor in accounting in the Price College of Business. He earned his Ph.D. in accounting from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and is an active Certified Public Accountant (Pennsylvania).

Prior to joining the University of Oklahoma, he taught both graduate and undergraduate level courses at George Mason University. His work experience includes being a Manager at Deloitte Tax LLP and a Partner at Construction Accounting Services LLC.

Dr. Snyder’s research focuses primarily on how tax policy and financial reporting shape market perceptions, corporate behavior, and financial outcomes. He has taught both graduate and undergraduate-level taxation, advance and introductory-level accounting, and managerial accounting.
