About Quick

Traci Quick joins Price College after 18 years of legal practice. She began her legal career with the Tulsa law firm of Norman, Wohlgemuth, Chandler, and Dowdell, where she practiced in contracts, malpractice, white-collar crime, and civil rights litigation. Seeking a career in public service, Quick later joined Oklahoma’s public defender service as an appellate public defender, focusing on representing indigent defendants in capital cases. In 2014, she joined the Price College faculty as an adjunct lecturer in undergraduate legal courses, an experience that sparked her passion for teaching the law. She now serves as a full-time lecturer at Price, primarily teaching courses on the legal environment of business and commercial transactions. Quick also continues to practice law on a limited basis, focusing on employment law, contract law, and criminal law.

Quick was born in Battle Creek, Michigan, and grew up in Norman, Oklahoma. She earned a bachelor’s degree in history and a Juris Doctor from the University of Oklahoma. She is admitted to practice in Oklahoma state courts, the Northern District of Oklahoma, and the Supreme Court of the United States
