About Kim

Keehyung Kim is an Associate Professor of MIS at the Price College of Business, University of Oklahoma. Previously, he served on the faculty at the School of Accounting and Finance, University of Waterloo, and the CUHK Business School, Chinese University of Hong Kong. He holds a Ph.D. in Operations and Information Management from the Wisconsin School of Business, University of Wisconsin-Madison, an M.S. in Computer Science from Seoul National University, and a B.S. in Computer Science from KAIST.

His research focuses on how technology features and platform design/policies influence decision-making processes and individual behavior. His work has been published in leading journals, including Management Science, Journal of Management Information Systems, Production and Operations Management and European Journal of Information Systems.

He enjoys teaching in the disciplines of information systems, data science, big data, and business analytics at both undergraduate and graduate levels. His teaching has been recognized with several honors, including the Faculty Teaching Excellence Award and Faculty Teaching Merit Award from CUHK Business School, as well as the Distinguished Teaching Award from the Wisconsin School of Business.
