About Li

Professor Christina S. Li earned her Ph.D. from the University of Iowa. Her research focuses on how employees navigate their work and career environments, including the characteristics individuals consider essential for fitting in at work, the experience of misfit, the actions they take to maintain fit or address misfit, and how fit occurs in different types of careers, such as unconventional ones. She uses a range of quantitative and qualitative research methods to integrate person–environment fit research with other areas of management research.

Li teaches courses in management, negotiations and conflict, leadership, and organizational behavior. Before joining Price College, she was a faculty member at Southern Methodist University. In addition to her academic work, she has consulted for local, national, and international organizations. Before her academic career, she worked in finance and banking.
