Undergraduate Research Day

Undergraduate Research Day (URD)

Join us for Undergraduate Research Day 2027, a celebration of academic discovery, creativity, and student achievement.

URD showcases the outstanding research, scholarly, and creative work conducted by undergraduate students from across many disciplines. This annual event gives students the opportunity to share their work with the campus community, engage with faculty and peers, and highlight the many ways undergraduate research contributes to academic life at OU.

More information about URD 2027, including presentation opportunities, registration details, and event logistics, will be shared as the event approaches.

We are also seeking URD Ambassadors to help support the event. Ambassadors may assist with welcoming participants, helping presenters navigate the event space, supporting check-in, answering general questions, and promoting Undergraduate Research Day across campus. This is a great opportunity for students who are enthusiastic about undergraduate research and want to help make URD a welcoming and successful experience for all participants.

Students interested in serving as a URD Ambassador can sign up by emailing honors@ou.edu with their name, major, year in school, and a brief note about their interest in supporting Undergraduate Research Day.
