Architecture: Breanna Walls
Breanna Walls is from Mustang, Oklahoma and is getting her bachelor’s degree in Architecture with a minor in Environmental Sustainability. Her favorite part about the Gibbs College of Architecture is the unforgettable memories and lifelong friendships, including studying abroad in Italy with classmates. Breanna’s plans for next year include joining MA+ Architecture firm in Oklahoma City as a Project Manager. While working full-time, she’ll also be preparing for her ARE exams with the goal of becoming a licensed architect in 2026!

Construction Science: Braxton Brown
Braxton Brown is from Frisco, Texas and is getting his bachelor’s degree in Construction Science with a minor in General Business. His favorite part about the Gibbs College of Architecture is the hands-on opportunities, like being part of the team that competed in the National Builders Show student competition. Braxton traveled to Las Vegas and collaborated on a residential custom home project, which helped him apply what he’s learned in a real-world setting. His plans for next year include starting his career with Swinerton, a large general contractor in Dallas, Texas.

Environmental Design: Taylor Fleming
Taylor Fleming is from Albuquerque, New Mexico and is getting her bachelor’s degree in Environmental Design with a minor in Geographic Information Science. She’s had the opportunity to explore many facets of the diverse field while fostering her other interests by taking classes outside the college. Taylor’s plans for next year include staying at OU to finish her master’s in Regional & City Planning. She will also continue her internship as a planner with the transportation/civil engineering firm, Parametrix.

Interior Design: Avery Eggers
Avery Eggers is from Keller, Texas, and is getting her bachelor’s degree in Interior Design with a minor in Architecture. Her favorite part about the Gibbs College of Architecture is how the interior design program explores design education through so many avenues beyond the typical studio environment, such as artistic communication classes and a furniture design and build studio. Avery’s plans for next year include working at an architecture firm in Oklahoma City and continuing her education through hands-on professional work. She’s excited to transition into post-grad life, get involved in the local design community, and advocate for the interior design profession.
