Butzer, “Dr. McCuen has established herself as a leader in the industry nationally—serving as a positive and aspirational role model for all of our Gibbs College students. A common thread throughout her service work is how Dr. McCuen helps grow awareness about the importance of the construction management discipline locally and nationally.”
Dr. McCuen has served on many national construction committees, including her leadership position in the Associated Schools of Construction (ASC), and her position on the Board of Trustees for the American Council for Construction Education (ACCE). On a local level, Dr. McCuen has served on six university committees and has coached Gibbs student teams to success at regional and national competitions.
Ben Bigelow, Director of the Haskell and Irene Lemon Construction Science division expressed his praised for Dr. McCuen: “[Her] service in her Division, College, and to the University has been exceptional.
