Dr. John Arroyo (University of Oregon) is giving a public talk entitled “Shadow Suburbanism: Mexican Settlement, Immigration Enforcement, and Housing Form in the New South.” It will be held on March 5, 2020, at 3:00 p.m. in Gould Hall, rm. 354.

He will share his research on immigration surveillance and culturally centered residential built environments, using suburban Atlanta and Mexican communities as a case study.

University of Oklahoma Student Journal Telesis awarded Graham Foundation Grant

Telesis, the Gibbs College of Architecture’s student journal, has been awarded a grant from the Graham Foundation for Advanced Studies in the Fine Arts to support its next two issues, “Pause” (Volume IX) and “React” (Volume X).
