Regional and City Planning’s John Harris was invited to speak at the Geography, Geology, and Planning Seminar Series at Missouri State University on Feb 21. He shared from his experiences working with Tribes in Oklahoma and the need for planning education to better prepare professionals for the unique contexts of planning and “Indian Country.”
The Gibbs Design in Action Awards (GDAA) program, led by Dr. Wanda Liebermann, has announced its 2026–2027 funded student projects. The initiative supports design and research work that addresses social, cultural, and economic issues in the built environment through collaboration with faculty and community partners.
