GCA Alum Wins Award for Multifamily Housing Project

The work of Brian Phillips, AIA, a Gibbs College of Architecture alumnus and principal architect of architecture firm ISA, was recently featured on the cover of Architect Magazine. The featured project, the “XS House,” is a 5,000-square-foot, seven-unit building with a very narrow footprint located in Philadelphia. The XS House was named a winner of the 2019 Residential Architect Design Award for Multifamily Housing.

In May, students from the Christopher C. Gibbs College of Architecture's Architecture, Environmental Design, and Interior Design programs participated in an intensive five-day Studio in Residence at Taliesin West, the iconic winter home and desert laboratory of Frank Lloyd Wright.
