Landscape Architecture graduate student, Alice Calmon, recently earned the “Best Student Portfolio” as part of the 4th Annual OU Creaties Awards. OU Creaties recognizes the best new websites made by OU Create users.

Calmon’s website was recognized for its aesthetic strength. Her work in landscape architecture added to the visual design of the site.

Using lightboxes on her home page to feature her architectural models, she allows viewers to expand the image to see even more detail. Each project also features a blog post.

OU Architecture Faculty Honored with Award for Research and Creative Excellence

Gibbs College of Architecture is proud to announce that Dr. Wanda Katja Liebermann, associate professor of Architecture, has been awarded the University of Oklahoma Vice President for Research and Partnerships Award for Excellence in Research, Design, and Creative Expression in the Humanities and Fine Arts for her scholarly monograph, Architecture’s Disability Problem.
