Jessica Brent, a graduate of the Urban Design Studio at OU-Tulsa, was recently featured in an article in Tulsa World. Brent is the co-owner of Homma Camp Company, a luxury camping service for those who may not have the time, expertise, or equipment.

“She has translated her creativity, placemaking ability, and entrepreneurship skills into a successful business,” said Shawn Schaefer, director of the Urban Design Studio.

During the first three years of business, Homma Camp Company would go wherever their clients wanted depending on their event. Now, though they still offer that service, they have their own private camp space at Mesa Diablo on Skiatook Lake.

They do all the work necessary for their clients; from setup and takedown of the campsite, furniture and lighting preparation, and even food preparation. Homma Camp Company has it all covered so the customer can focus on having fun and enjoying their outdoor experience.

Check out the Tulsa World article for more info and some great outdoor cooking recipes!
