Gibbs College of Architecture Dean Hans E. Butzer named Dr. Suchi Bhattacharjee, interior design professor, as the Spring 2019 “Outstanding Faculty Member” on Jan. 9.

Dr. Bhattacharjee is recognized for her contributions to the college through her teaching, research, service and collegiality. Dr. Bhattacharjee’s recent research has looked at environmental sustainability, living environments for Myanmar refugees, and construction pedagogy, among other built environment topics.

Congratulations, Dr. Bhattacharjee!

In May, students from the Christopher C. Gibbs College of Architecture's Architecture, Environmental Design, and Interior Design programs participated in an intensive five-day Studio in Residence at Taliesin West, the iconic winter home and desert laboratory of Frank Lloyd Wright.
