During each fall semester, the Gibbs College of Architecture, along with other colleges at the University of Oklahoma, recognizes its Outstanding Senior. This year, Construction Science major Dennise Pedroza was named GCA’s Outstanding Senior.
Dennise has participated in a wide range of activities and professional development opportunities during her time at OU, including chairing the Latino Student Life Day of the Dead Festival, serving in leadership roles in the Hispanic American Student Association, participating on award-winning TEXO competition teams, and volunteering her time and talents to raise money for the Lupus Foundation of Oklahoma, among other organizations.
Dennise credits much of her success to her involvement with the OU Office of Student Life. She said, “Discovering Student Life has been the most significant experience I have had during my time at OU because it was what pushed me in the direction that has led me to becoming a successful student on this campus.”
Congratulations, Dennise!
