Shortly after presenting his current acoustical research at an international conference on acoustics hosted by the Acoustical Society of America and Canadian Acoustical Association, associate professor of architecture Daniel Butko guest lectured in Dr. Bozorgi’s “Architecture for Non-Majors” course.
Butko’s interactive presentation titled “The sOUnd of shaped space” introduced students to the fascinating world of architectural acoustics and the importance of crafting resilient spaces for occupant health, safety, and welfare. The presentation was followed by a Q&A session with research assistant Zach Maggia.
Special thanks to Dr. Bozorgi for arranging the lecture and to Prof. Butko’s project partners at Coreslab Structures for participating.
