Division of Construction Science students began a design-build project this semester as part of the Construction Fundamentals Lab, taught by Bryan Bloom, construction science instructor. The students are working on a one-bedroom affordable rental unit that will be purchased by the Norman Housing Authority following its completion. Bloom said that, for many of the students, this is their first hands-on project. To make this experience possible, the Gibbs College of Architecture partnered with a number of organizations including a local developer, who funded the project. We’ll share updates on the student’s progress on our social media channels, so stay connected!
