Engineering student Pranav Mohan recently received an Undergraduate Research Opportunities (UROP) Grant to work with GCA architecture professor Andres Cavieres. Mohan will assist Cavieres with an aspect of his solar research program. The UROP program offers financial assistance for scholarly and creative projects under the mentorship of a faculty member. Dozens of research projects are funded each year so that undergraduates may undertake ambitious and exciting research endeavors.

In May, students from the Christopher C. Gibbs College of Architecture's Architecture, Environmental Design, and Interior Design programs participated in an intensive five-day Studio in Residence at Taliesin West, the iconic winter home and desert laboratory of Frank Lloyd Wright.
