Assistant professor of construction science Somik Ghosh was recently honored with an Associated Schools of Construction (ASC) Teaching Award during the 54th Annual ASC International Conference in Minneapolis, MN. The ASC “promotes the sharing of ideas and knowledge and inspires, guides, and promotes excellence in curricula, teaching, research, and service” among educators and industry practitioners. In May, students from the Christopher C. Gibbs College of Architecture's Architecture, Environmental Design, and Interior Design programs participated in an intensive five-day Studio in Residence at Taliesin West, the iconic winter home and desert laboratory of Frank Lloyd Wright.
