Recent Architecture PhD grad Long Zhou, who is currently at Macao City University, published his research, "Ecological and economic impacts of green roofs and permeable pavements at the city level: the case of Corvallis, Oregon,” in the Journal of Environmental Planning and Management. This article was co-authored by Zhou, and CoA Profs. Guoqiang Shen and Thomas Woodfin, as well as Kun Song of Tianjin University.

In May, students from the Christopher C. Gibbs College of Architecture's Architecture, Environmental Design, and Interior Design programs participated in an intensive five-day Studio in Residence at Taliesin West, the iconic winter home and desert laboratory of Frank Lloyd Wright.
