Award-winning educator Elizabeth F. Pober recently was named director of the Interior Design division at the University of Oklahoma College of Architecture.
“Elizabeth’s teaching and research agenda feed off of one another, and the classroom is where her energy has made a tremendous impact,” said College of Architecture Dean Hans E. Butzer. “Our students are impressively loyal to Elizabeth, and entranced with her teaching manner. Elizabeth’s pioneering research includes bringing virtual reality technologies into our studios. She offers a working example of the ideal: that our passion for teaching and research merge to become a powerful pedagogical moment for our students.”
