Jerry Puckett

Buildings Operation Manager

Jerry Puckett serves as Technical Project Management Specialist III and Facilities Manager, supporting all phases of the college’s operations. His responsibilities include adapting facilities to meet evolving program needs, coordinating event logistics, managing room scheduling, and overseeing purchasing. He approaches each task with a clear understanding of how operational decisions connect to the college’s broader mission.

Jerry believes that success is rooted in collaboration. He finds the most rewarding experiences are those where the team comes together to meet a challenge and create something meaningful, whether planning an event or responding to an unexpected situation.

A veteran of the United States Marine Corps, Jerry brings extensive technical expertise to his role. He holds certifications in commercial roofing applications, HVAC systems and recovery (EPA), boiler operations, and emergency response (AED and CPR). His training also includes EMT Basic and machining. His dedication has been recognized with the campus-wide Katie Pursley Superior Performance Award and the Jerri Hodges Bonebrake Outstanding Staff Award.

Outside of work, Jerry is passionate about the outdoors and especially about cycling. He chairs the annual benefit ride for the JD McCarty Center’s Camp ClapHans, helping raise scholarship funds that allow children with developmental disorders to attend summer camp.
