OU Philosophy Alumnus Chase McCumber Accepts Position at Rose State College

Beginning in Fall 2026, Chase McCumber joined Rose State College as the new Professor of Philosophy and Philosophy Program Director. Dr. McCumber is exited to contribute to the tradition of American community colleges by making a material difference in students’ lives. He also looks forward to continuing and expanding the relationships between various philosophy departments in Central Oklahoma.

Chase McCumber earned a PhD in Philosophy in 2024 and an MA in Philosophy in 2018 from the University of Oklahoma. He earned a BA in Philosophy in 2014 from the University of Central Oklahoma.
