Dr. Elyse Singer received two recent awards for her recent book Lawful Sins: Abortion Rights and Reproductive Governance in Mexico.
Elyse Singer was awarded the 2022 Arthur J. Rubel Book Prize from the Society for Latin American and Caribbean Anthropology for her recent book Lawful Sins: Abortion Rights and Reproductive Governance in Mexico.
Elyse Singer's recent book Lawful Sins: Abortion Rights and Reproductive Governance in Mexico also was awarded an Honorable Mention for the 2023 Council on Anthropology of Reproduction Book Prize sponsored by the Society for Medical Anthropology.
