As part of promoting a culture of learning and student success at OU, the Office of Academic Assessment established a biennial university-wide conference commonly referred to as “OU Assessment Forum”. The event, which has been held four times, draws faculty and staff from departments and academic affairs offices across OU campus to engage in open and rich conversation about issues, strategies, and processes associated with assessment as a tool to improve student learning and institutional effectiveness in promoting student success through interactive presentations, roundtables, and plenary addresses. Attendees share best practices in assessment of student learning at the course, program and institutional levels.
