Congratulations to the 2026 Staff AI Challenge Winners!

Thank you to everyone who participated and took the time to build your AI knowledge and skills. The 2026 Staff AI Challenge engaged 474 unique participants, who collectively completed more than 1,724 hours of learning. This strong participation demonstrates the growing interest in AI across the University and the many ways our staff are exploring its potential, and its limitations, to support their work.

We would also like to recognize the staff members who demonstrated exceptional commitment to building their AI knowledge and skills. Our top learners dedicated between 13.5 and 17.5 hours to AI learning during the challenge.

The Staff AI Challenge was offered in partnership with the Office of Artificial Intelligence, OU AI Education Working Group, OU Human Resources, University Libraries, Information Technology, and the Norman campus Staff Senate. The challenge was designed to help OU staff build practical AI skills and explore how AI can be applied in the workplace.
