The OU Testing Center offers makeup exams to students approved by their department for tests outside their regular in-class testing time due to illness, family emergency, or military service.
Students:
- To schedule your exam, please click on the "Schedule Your Exam" button. This will direct you to the registration page where you can secure a spot to take your exam.
- Make-Up Exam Scheduling: - If you need to schedule a make-up exam, you must do so at least 18 hours before your desired exam date. Please keep in mind that if you fail to schedule within this timeframe, the schedule will indicate that it is full, and you will not be able to reserve a spot.
- Please remember, that we do not accept walk-ins, so it is essential to plan your exam scheduling accordingly. Be sure to account for these deadlines to ensure your place for the exam.
- Please read the Test Center Policies page before coming to take your exam on what you can and can’t bring to the center along with testing expectations.
Professors:
- Please submit all exam materials to testing@ou.edu at least 24 hours before the student's scheduled exam. This 24-hour window ensures that we have adequate time to process everything efficiently.
- Make sure to include the Exam Proctoring Form in PDF format with your submission. This form is a crucial component that helps maintain the integrity of the examination process.
- We strongly encourage you to pick up the exam materials in person, as this will streamline your access and preparation.
- If you decide to have the materials emailed, remember that delivery can take up to four days, which may affect your timeline.
- Lastly, be aware that all exam materials will be securely shredded 30 days after submission. This policy is in place to protect the confidentiality of the exam content, and we take this responsibility seriously. Plan accordingly to ensure a smooth and efficient exam experience.
