Owen Dodd is an Assistant Professor in the School of Industrial Engineering at the University of Oklahoma. He holds a Ph.D. in Bioengineering and a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering, both from the University of Oklahoma.  He is a member of the American Society of Engineering Education (ASEE).  He joined the faculty of the School of Industrial and Systems Engineering at the University of Oklahoma in 2018.

Dr. Dodd’s research is in the area of auditory neuroscience, focusing on the effects that attention plays on the perception of stimuli.  It is believed that a better understanding of how the brain processes stimulus information could lead to new sensory prostheses devices.
