Each year, OU Engineering hosts a variety of on- and off-campus events open to students. These events are a way for you to get to know the Gallogly College of Engineering and our programs! Check back here for updates and registration information as it becomes available.

On-Campus Tours

The best way to learn about OU Engineering is by visiting us on campus! 

Spring 2025 Engineering Quad Tours:

  • Monday and Friday at 10:30 a.m., 12:30 p.m., and 2:30 p.m.
  • Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays at 10:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m.
  • Select Saturdays at 12:30 p.m.

Tours begin in our ExxonMobil Lawrence G. Rawl Engineering Practice Facility (REPF) building located at 850 South Jenkins Avenue. Guests will check-in at the first floor lobby.


Webinars

These events are a way for you to engage from anywhere with OU Engineering. Each event is slightly different, and open to all students. Learn more about each event and RSVP below. 

OU Engineering Parent Q+A Webinar with Dean Shehab: February 13 and April 15 - 6:00-7:00PM (Central)

Join Dean Shehab as she talks about OU Engineering and answers questions during this parent and supporter virtual Q&A. This is your chance to connect with our Senior Associate Dean in the College of Engineering and learn more about the resources we have to support your student. You are encouraged to sign-up for either event, but please only pick one!

Engineering Summer Bridge Information Session: January 28 and March 3 - 6:00-7:00PM (Central)

Taking place from July 5 to August 1, 2025, the Engineering Summer Bridge program is the premier transition program designed to prepare students for their academic journey in the Gallogly College of Engineering or Mewbourne College of Earth and Energy. Join program director, Brandon Abbott, as he shares more about the program, application process, fees, and even hear the student perspective from Engineering Summer Bridge alumni.

Experience Engineering Lunches 

These special events invite students to campus to learn about OU Engineering, campus life, and what it means to be an OU Engineer. Students will get an opportunity to interact with OU faculty, staff, and students.
