Computer science is one of the most transformative disciplines of our time that is shaping how we live, work, and address complex global challenges. Our faculty are engaged in world-class research across areas such as artificial intelligence, machine learning, data science, cybersecurity, networking, high-performance computing, computational biology, software engineering, visualization, and human-computer interaction. Their work not only advances fundamental knowledge but also addresses critical needs in health, energy, national security, and beyond. Students at every level, from undergraduate through doctoral programs, are encouraged to participate in this work, gaining valuable hands-on experience that complements classroom learning. Collaboration, curiosity, and creativity are at the heart of what we do, and we strive to provide an environment where every student can succeed and thrive.
We are proud to be home to more than 700 undergraduates and 150 graduate students. Our academic offerings include a B.S. in Computer Science, an embedded certificate in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning, and a minor in Computer Science. At the graduate level, we offer both M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in Computer Science, along with a recently introduced Accelerated B.S./M.S. program in Computer Science and a B.S./M.S. program in Computer Engineering and Computer Science.
Our graduates are highly sought after in both the private and public sectors. Alumni from our programs hold leadership roles in major corporations, small businesses, start-ups, government agencies, and universities.
