OU Graduation

The 2021 OU Graduation Ceremony is a formal ceremony for Gallogly College of Engineering Bachelor of Science, Master of Science, and Doctor of Philosophy graduates and their guests.  We will recognize students from both the graduating class of 2020 and 2021 during each ceremony.  Each graduate is recognized and photographed as his/her name is announced

Graduates need to arrive an hour prior to their ceremony.  Due to the pandemic and size of the ceremony, there will be no processional and each student will instead be seated on the football field upon arrival.

All graduates must wear their cap and gown during the ceremony.

All Candidates and Graduates

All graduates participating in Convocation must wear their cap and gown.

Beginning February 13, information will be available to pick up in WSSC or at Graduation Gear Up. This information includes an OU Commencement Invitation, a Gallogly College of Engineering Convocation Invitation, and Convocation Info sheets.

Convocation Information Sheets

We ask you to RSVP by completing the following by April 28:

Commencement and Convocation Registration

Family, friends and guests are invited to the Convocation Ceremony.  Due to the pandemic, limited tickets will be supplied to each student that registers for the graduation ceremony.  These tickets are non-transferrable and are unique to each student.  Families within that group will be seated in a family pod which are distanced safely from other pods.

Guests will be able to enter through any gate to the Gaylord Family - Oklahoma Memorial Stadium.  Volunteer and event staff will be there to assist you in finding your seating as well as to answer your questions.  Concessions will be available if drink or food is needed during the ceremony.

Please be aware of the clear bag policy in place at the stadium.  More information about permitted items can be found here.

Special accommodations are available by request.  Please contact for assistance.
