When it isn't necessary to copy an entire page. Netscape will allow you to Copy and Paste portions of WebPages!
In case you have never used the Windows Copy, (Cut) and Paste functions here is an exercise!
Hold down your Left Mouse Button and "wipe" the pointer across this line of text...!
When the "line of text example " is Blue highlighted..., (
as in this example below)
(Release the Left Mouse Button on "that part" of the text you want to copy..., )
(With the text Highlighted) From your Netscape Toolbar...,
Choose File, ...then "Click-on" Copy
Netscape will copy your highlighted text to the Windows Clipboard.
You can now Paste the text to any application Windows will allow you! (e.g. Your e-mail window) ...and you can use this technique to transfer information to other applications such as word processors...,
This is particularly useful..., because you can "transfer" Internet information from the internet to your Word Processor (or E-Mail window) without re-typing!
In Netscape..., you must go through the Netscape
Toolbar File Menu.
