The David L. Boren College of International Studies' (CIS) Center for Student Success supports all CIS majors, minors, and graduate students. The Center for Student Success hosts the CIS Ambassadors program.

The CIS Ambassadors program was created to be the cornerstone of the Center. CIS Ambassadors develop skills for future success, gain knowledge about global careers and opportunities, and work to create a sense of community within the College.

CIS Scholarship Information Session

Join the College of International Studies to learn about how to find and apply for scholarships. Representatives from OU's Centralized Scholarship Hub (CASH) will be available to share information and answer questions.

Refreshments will be served.

The College of International Studies invites students to join OU's Chapter of Sigma Iota Rho, an Honor Society for International Studies.

The purpose of Sigma Iota Rho shall be to promote and reward scholarship and service among students and practitioners of international studies, international affairs, and global studies and to foster integrity and creative performance in the conduct of world affairs.

OU has collaboratd with the international magazine, Release Peace: The Magazine, to give students the opportunity to work with the Magazine editors to write published articles on various international topics. 

Release Peace is a non-profit, non-partisan organization (headquartered in The Hague) whose work in the peace and security fields includes interaction with high-level personnel at the EU, US State Department, UN ambassadors, and others. This partnership offers OU students opportunities to work with professional editors to author and publish articles on a range of geopolitical, historical, global, or cultural issues in the organization’s online magazine.

If you are interested in learning more about networking, mentorship, public speaking, resume building, and more, submit your application in fall 2025 and join us for this exciting opportunity for CIS students.
